In my day job, I cover mostly the business/general/private aviation beats. But I still love the commercial side, so I try and keep my hand in it as much as possible. Last May, I went to Geneva, Switzerland, to attend the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition.
I love this show because everything is in one place – you have the Palexpo, which houses the exhibit halls and convention workshops and panels. And then right next door is Geneva International Airport, which does double duty as an operating commercial facility AND a static display of 65 aircraft.
Of course, I’ve never met a static display I didn’t like and spent quite a bit of time snapping away. Today’s photo I think represents my split aviation personalities. Enjoy!!
